Zero Crossing

“This is a quietly sublime piece of music located somewhere in-between the crack of night and day. One half of title, Zero begins as an exploration of mood by feeling its way through a beat-less shift in imagination with the pulse of drums then joining alongside a poignant combination of melody, crafted from a sprinkle of piano plus breathy horns. Leaving the expectation of bass to be fully realised at around mid-point of this slightly epic, nearly eleven minutes. Crossing, follows sensing resolution via its sequence of brighter, melodic climbs aiming at an upward trajectory of a simmering expectation.”
