Brueder Selke & Laure Boer
The subtle experimental explorations of the poly-instrumental and renowned composer duo Brueder Selke (sometimes under the alias CEEYS) from East Berlin meet the hypnotic improvisations of the Berliner-by-choice Laure Boer! The latter has also been involved in several projects with mentor Rabih Beaini, the founder of Morphine Records, in recent years. The first musical encounter of the three with the Bruedern Selke could then be seen in 2021 at the Q3Ambientfest in Potsdam as an improvised interplay of cello, piano, electronics and self-developed instruments in an extravagant setup. Laure Boer is also working on her constantly growing and experimental set of instruments in the sense of artistic research, and one can be curious to see how a reunion of all of them will present itself as a performance this time.
